Our Story

A prolonged period of increased stress, combined with losing my job, culminated in sleep related issues that lead to other health problems such as severe heartburn and chest pain.

After many medical investigations I found that better sleep can help, so I looked up ways to improve my sleep and thus relieve my other health issues.

The many studies I read showed the positive effects of using a weighted blanket.

I have bought quite a few, but I was not completely happy with what I have received, and this is how Mellie, a family owned company, was established.
